Transparency from Archdiocese - SISTER CATHY
As of the writing of this blog post, the petition is only 7,208 signatures short of the 50,000 required. Once the petition hits it’s mark, it will be delivered to the Archdiocese of Baltimore, as well as Governor Larry Hogan and State Representative C.T. Wilson.

The Petition says:

The Archdiocese of Baltimore holds documents regarding sexual abuse claims against A. Joseph Maskell. The release of these documents will restore public trust in the Archdiocese, and confirm the Archdiocese statements regarding their handling of the sexual abuse claims.

This petition requests that the Archdiocese of Baltimore release their files regarding A. Joseph Maskell, who is now deceased, in an effort to throughly investigate all avenues that may have led to the murder of Cathy Cesnik in 1969.

As a result of recent attention paid to this unsolved crime, the Archdiocese has published a page on their website. The FAQ denies any record of abuse by Maskell. Furthermore, it also denies any knowledge outside of public record in the death of Sister Cathy Cesnik.

  1. I am making sure that everyone see the documentary and leaves the Catholic Church. You will never again have my business (aka. Money). Most of my family on both sides has already left. I will be better able to convince them with the documentary. May you rot on hell for this.
